The Hwanghak-dong Flea Market

The Hwanghak-dong Flea Market is one of the most amazing markets in Seoul. The market is located at Cheonggye 8-ga Street, in Seoul and is easily accessible by subway lines 2 or 6 at the Sindang Station. This market is open every day and has over 500 stalls. Some of the stall vendors have been doing business at this flea market for over 40 years. These market stalls sell a wide range of items like cutlery, old household items, apparel, books, china, antiques, Buddha statues, old wheels, plant pots, bookshelves, stamps, paintings, shoes, CDs, DVDs. The prices range from low for used and old products to high for new unused products and antiques. Haggling at the flea market is the accepted norm.  The Hwanghak-dong Flea Market offers a fun way to capture the essence of Seoul.
